“This browser is fantastic. I love the design and simplicity, but the small back and forward buttons at the bottom are incredibly hard to press. I would prefer larger controls across the bottom of the screen.”

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and the kind words about the design. The touch targets for the back and forward buttons have been increased slightly in the latest TestFlight version.
The increase is intentionally modest because other testers like that the controls stay small and do not take up much screen space. The goal is to find the right compromise between making the buttons easier to tap and preserving the compact floating design. I will continue monitoring feedback and may adjust them further.

“Login to ChatGPT and Gemini doesn’t seem to change when logged in. It just opens a new in-browser tab?”
Response
This has been fixed in the latest TestFlight version. The ChatGPT and Gemini login flow now updates correctly instead of only opening a new in-browser tab.
Please update Vortex through TestFlight and sign in again. If the login state still does not change, send another report with the Vortex build number, your device model and your iOS or iPadOS version.
URL clear button and hidden browser controls

“1) The X button in the URL box does not work. 2) Sometimes when scrolling upwards, the URL box and other buttons don’t reappear.”
Response
- If you scroll while the URL box is open, it immediately collapses.
- When scrolling stops, the compact navigation pill should reappear.
- Scrolling upward is not designed to reopen the full URL box. Tap the search icon when you want to open it again.
- The X button is designed to clear the URL text, not close the URL box. Could you clarify whether tapping it fails to clear the text, or whether you expected it to close the box?
